On the night of 18 to 19 Minsk celebrated the Long Night of Museums, dedicated to the International Museum Day. The citizens and guests of the capital enjoyed late-night programs and performances that had been thoroughly prepared especially for this day. Colorful characters wandering along the streets, flashmobs, musicians and the atmosphere of free art was exactly what Minsk needed.
"The headliner" of the Night of Museums in Minsk was the National Museum of Art with the program: Apocalypse. Canceled...which brought together an exhibition of Belarusian abstract artists and theatrical performance. Together, the museum staff and the guests tried to dispel the myth of the approaching end of the world.
