The name of gastropub Gambrinus isn’t a random one. In the XIII century there was a knight by name Jan Primus, better known as Gambrinus. As an honorary member of the Brewers' Guild, he worked on the creation of new varieties of beer and propelled it to the masses, and therefore was considered the patron saint of brewers and beer king of the world.
The pub Gambrinus is divided into four halls, each is decorated in style of one of the world famous beer capitals. At first you get into the pub-zone of Anglo-Saxon beer culture filled with atmosphere "kraik”, which can be translated from Celtic as "fun, party hard”. To the right there’s a hall devoted to Pilsen brewery «ČeskáPivnice». After passing the entrance straight, you find yourself in Belgian beer garden - the hall «BelgeBierbrasserie». Finally, there’s «Carlsberg Room», which received its name in honor of the Danish brewing company. During the summer the venue also includes an opened terrace.
Prices on drinks and dishes are reasonable. The pub also offers various discounts: on bottle beer, on draft beer to go or proposals for big groups.
